Gesso white paint Talens 5L

Talens offers its white gesso paint here. Made from acrylic products, this gesso can be used as an undercoat for acrylic or oil paints. In the case of oil painting, it protects the support from attack by the paint's solvents. Paint gesso can be applied to any support desired by the Artist. It optimizes paint adhesion on the most unusual surfaces: wood, metal, cardboard, stone, plaster... What's more, gesso will prevent the support from drinking the paint. But that's not all: it's also designed to make the surface as smooth as possible. A minimum of two coats of gesso is recommended. If the artist wishes to obtain a very smooth surface, it should be sanded between each application. White gesso can be applied with a brush, roller or sponge.
