White gesso from Lefranc & Bourgeois is a ready-to-use universal coating. This gesso paint in large packs enables the Artist to prepare his support, whatever it may be. Wood, porcelain, metal, entry-level canvas... it's important to coat the support with gesso to guarantee the result and hold the work over time. This white gesso optimizes paint adhesion. As a result, colors adhere easily and durably, so they stay vibrant over time! What's more, gesso paint fills pores to provide the smoothest possible surface. It can be applied in several thicknesses (at least two coats are recommended) and the Artist will sand the surface between each coat to remove any excess.
